This regional sales engineering position need to be filled before the end of October 2021.
It is a must to live in Miami area or be able to change residence to Miami area.
The regional sales engineer will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Constant visits to end users, contractors, distributors, and consultants involved in the use, installation or specification of refrigeration and heat exchange equipment in the region assigned in Florida and smalls Caribbean islands.
- Travel by road to different cities in the assigned territory in order to activate regional accounts and find strategic clients through the region.
- Implement the sales and marketing plan in accordance to the guidelines and strategy of the company.
- Develop a marketing plan in coordination with the Marketing Manager that includes participation in trade shows, customer training, literature, promotions, and customer incentive programs.
- Achieve sales and gross margin objectives quarter by quarter.
- Be able to learn and have basic knowledge of thermodynamics and heat transfer processes.
Requirements:
- The regional sales engineering position will report to the regional sales manager located in Miami.
- For these responsibilities we need the sales engineer to be capable of using in a proficient manner the following software: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Autocad and Acrobat.
- This position requires extensive traveling in the region and other countries such as Mexico, and Latin America therefore a passport is a must.
- Fluent English.
- Spanish knowledge is a plus.
- Be legal and able to work in the US.
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering from a well-recognized USA college or university is a must.
